Modern critical studies have clearly paid attention to dramatic art, and have expanded the concept of drama so that literary genres become a field for their experiments. Modern poets have resorted to drawing a new model for the modern poem, employing the dramatic structure in its construction, benefiting - in that - from daily reality. Hence, addressing the modern poem leads to addressing these inputs together or separately, after the dividing lines between one literary genre and another have weakened, and all literary genres have entered within the concept of text or discourse. Objective: This study came to re-read the Darwish text according to these artistic transformations that transferred the essence of the experience from its lyrical reality to a more democratic reality. Scope of the study We have chosen from this structure what revolves around the character; as the character has become part of the poem. This transformation in the structure of the poem made the distance between poetry, prose and the novel very short. Research methodology: The researcher relied in his critical reading in this study on the analytical method in studying the character, or an anatomical reading of the character structure in the Darwish poem.
