The Issue of Translating the Linguistic Term in the Arabic Language

Prof. Dr. Lekbir Elhassani, The Issue of Translating the Linguistic Term in the Arabic Language…………………………. 3-27

Abstract:

This research was based on a conditional rule that if linguistic terminology aspires to become a scientific study of the concepts found in foreign languages; The terminology generation as a standard mechanism can be considered a rule that moves towards complication, which will be reflected in controlling the worlds through which we can create a new terminology culture that gives the Arab lesson a new and vital identity that keeps pace with the development whose chasm has been expanding day by day, The dissipation of this gap will only be achieved by passing the path of unifying the linguistic term and recommending its presence in education and social and cultural life. For this to be achieved, we need specialized research institutions that possess a great degree of competence and seriousness, in addition to a real political will that goes along with the matter.

The deliberative dimension of Informative Discourse During the Corona Pandemic, a Study in the Purposes

Dr. Rania Ahmad Amoori, The deliberative dimension of Informative Discourse During the Corona Pandemic, a Study in the Purposes ………………..85-110

Abstract:

The idea of this research revolves around the manifestation of the meaning of discourse in a specific context, considering language as a living use, and not only abstract signs, as grammar practices may show, but rather requires the production of knowledge that makes these signs live interactive, which requires studying the context. The research will study the Informative discourse of the Jordanian Ministry of Health in light of the Corona pandemic, using the pragmatic approach. Because it is the method concerned with studying language in usage, in addition to being concerned with studying the intentions of the discourse producer, and how it can communicate these intentions at a level that exceeds the level of literal significance. Accordingly, the research will study the mechanisms by which the discourse producer employed the different linguistic levels in a specific context, in order to enable the speech to be able to convey its aims, taking into account external facts such as the speech's time, place, and production context. Emphasis will be placed on discourse strategies that have served purpose and authority; Purposes with the required strategies of persuasion, and the authority required by the strategies of guidance and allusion.

The Arabic Language in the Media The Dialectical Relationship

Dr. Said Laouadi, The Arabic Language in the Media The Dialectical Relationship …………….. 159-196

Abstract:

Media is of prime importance in our contemporary lives, both at the individual and collective levels. It may even be a crucial factor in guiding and framing them. Specialists believe that the Arab media does not limit itself to merely disseminating up-to-date news and analyzing its contents. Rather, it constitutes an (open language school) that teaches Arabic to the masses in ways that parallel the means. The Arabic language has integrated with the media industry, highlighting the former’s ability to express accelerated developments, and dismissing the claims that are skeptical of its pertinence to contemporary life.

The agency of the Arabic language by the media has gone through different stages. The first phase began with confusion, and the media language could not get rid of rhetorical axioms and the burden of elaborate stylistic devices. Then came the second stage when pioneers developed the characteristics of this language. They tended to be flexible, easy and contemporary. Then, surged the third stage marked by the retreat of eloquent linguistic performance, and the advent of colloquial dialects and linguistic hybridization. Accordingly, this study examines the dialectical relationship between Arabic and media through two opposite venues. The first traces the positive aspects and the second focuses on the negative ones. The paper then proposes a set of measures to develop this relationship and to correct its course in the future.

Politics and Preaching, an Argumentative Approach to Examples of the Sermons of the Khawarij and bany Omaya, E

Dr. Karim Elbaciti, Politics and Preaching, an Argumentative Approach to Examples of the Sermons of the Khawarij and bany Omaya, Ethos Between Ideology and the Contradiction of Saying Action ………………….197-231

Abstract:

Preaching is a human activity that is driven by religion and revolves around it. It has two purposes, either as a reminder or as a fear. As such, it does not mean that it is corrective, because it may be covered in ideology and be confused with politics. Therefore, it becomes a tool for achieving other goals. In this article, we have tried to address the limits of the overlapping of preaching and politics in the sermons of the “the khawarij” and some rulers of “bany omaya” in the person of Hajjaj bin Yusuf al-Thaqafi. We have sought to point out the function of preaching in political discourse and its roles, using the old rhetoric as outlined by Aristotle in his discourse, which included components of origins that are respectively Etos, patos, and Logos. we have confined ourselves to their first component and invested in the second component to monitor how the preacher builds an image of himself or his group under the axis of ethos between ideological conviction and contradicting the statement of action . On the other hand, we have tried to monitor the rush of some of these speeches. We concluded that preaching is used in political discourse to legitimize and acclaim, and that it often slips off course and its employment becomes crude.
